Assuming you have an electric snowblower... How long does it run for? Slowly converting all my stuff to electric, but it takes me well over an hour to clear my driveway and such, so not sure how many batteries it'd take.

Decided to spend my daily Dunkin alottment of money on a cool little Ninja coffee brewer that makes iced coffee (all I drink, regardless of temps outside) at home.

In two months, I've already made my money back. And the one time I went to DD, I realized just how trash their coffee is compared to something you can grab from the grocery store and make yourself.

Lived on Oahu for 4 years, yet here I am back in CT. The #1 draw was family. Having nearby relatives is a lifesaver sometimes.

Not sure I'd ever get sick of the perfect weather & beaches of Hawaii. Could definitely do without the traffic, cost of living, & $1500/18+ hour flights to visit family. And road trips... You can go in a million circles, but it's always the same sights

I've never gotten turned around at Mohegan, but I literally just got lost trying to get to a restaurant at Foxwoods yesterday with my kids.

And that damn outlet mall.... The hallways to nowhere.

You got down voted by someone who doesn't understand just how much fun track days are.

Got to experience a few with my motorcycle. It's more of a class/hands on training thing, but you learn so much! As opposed to just holding the steering wheel straight & pushing your foot to the floor along 384.

Had a text saying power was restored around 730 this evening. That is false, so I had to resubmit a power outage, likely putting us to the back of the line.

Family & I are having a "camp out" by the wood stove, but pretty sure all the food we had prepped for the holiday weekend is going to be a total loss.

And I'm sure getting the $250 back for wasted food is like pulling teeth.

You're a good person.

If you can't find a charitable place to give the clothes away to, check & see if your town has a "buy nothing, sell nothing" Facebook page. We were able to pass on a ton of our kid's clothes & toys as they outgrew them.

I looked into it years ago, having law enforcement experience in the military. At the time, I believe they also required a degree as well. It's a tough position to get, due to limited numbers & a lot of qualified applicants.

If you just want to be do law enforcement in nature a lot, take a look at VT State Police. Met a few while at snowmobile checkstops & they were pitching applying. The highlights were you get issued a truck, boat, quad, kayak, & snowmobile... Basically everyone else works for. Things might have changed, that was likely a decade ago.

The problem is that they're not prosecuting firearm crimes. Guy just got sentenced yesterday after attempting to rob a guy & pointing a gun at his head... 8 years. Can't figure out what "positive attributes" this guy could possibly have.
