My big advice would be to explore outside the city as well. Just take the Pike West and explore all of the towns

Best time to visit by far is October-Early November, or during the late spring and summer months (May-August)

That being said, there’s always going to be stuff to do year round, just be prepared for it to be real cold (feels colder in the city because the skyscrapers channel the wind)
