Yeah - it was a pain in the butt/stressful process. Personally I submitted after I took each week and they paid me out for each week individually. It's up to you really. If you'd rather get paid out all at once after you take all your leave, go that route. I was more comfortable getting the money as I took it rather than one lump sum like 8months later.

So if you're taking your leave on a non-continuous basis, you have to submit a new form after you take each week. You take the month, submit that - then every week you take after you submit a new form for each week. Or you can wait and do it all at once when you're back. Depends on if you're able to wait it out on getting paid from the state or not. I took mine sporadically throughout 2022 and while it was a hassle to submit each week I took separately, it did all go through pretty well. When I took mine the wait was something like 10-13 weeks to get paid out. That was more pandemic related I think. They should be paying you out a little faster now...I would hope.
