I mean I’ve just never thought of it. I let things dry out of the dryer pretty rarely, so it just never occurred to me to speed up the process.

It’s actually crazy that people see this and feel the absolute need to insert themselves in the situation. Acting like they know more than OP and his cousin about the situation. I couldn’t imagine asking a family member to let a friend stay with them while simultaneously warning them to lock up their possessions and throw away their food because the friend is so sketchy
