Math is a language; written equations are like sentences.

"The man bit the dog" is just as valid as "The dog bit the man", but since we agree on the grammatical rules that when a Verb takes two cases the Object goes after it, which is "correct" depends on whoever the was bitten. If the man was bitten, the first one is incorrect and the second one is correct.

PEMDAS is the grammar of the equation. It's "correct" because it helps to all agree on what we mean. It clears up ambiguity.

Pee isn't (just) from what you drink. There's not a 1-to-1. Eating and drinking goes through digestion. Food and liquids are absorbed in your small intestine, enter your blood stream, and are processed by the liver. Glucose and nutrients are transported to cells by your red blood cells. They also carry oxygen from your lungs.

Waste of various kinds, byproducts of cells using energy, enters your bloodstream and is carried by red blood cells to your lungs (carbon dioxide) for air-soluble waste and kidneys (urea, salts, etc) for water-soluble waste. Kidneys help keep the balance of water and salt just right. Water soluble waste happens to be yellow. It comes from cells metabolism, breathing, bile, excess soluble vitamins and nitrogen wastes (from protein) and it is dissolved in water.

The rest of what you eat and drink is digested, or is indigestible, and leaves as solid waste. Bile and dead red blood cells and fiber and other non-soluble waste becomes poop.

Yikes friend. Have you talked with a urologist? That's not okay. I've passed four or five and that was more than enough to get me referred. I'm surprised if you haven't been urged to get a more effective treatment for recurring stones or at least an analysis of the stone type so you can help dissolve them. Unless you have already?

Same! Sorry you're dealing with kidney stones. They suck. If it's any consolation nothing beats kidney stones except that craziness, not even "regular" labor or C-sections or surgery or IUDs. Kidney stones are crazy.

So. I've had both kinds of C-sections.

Planned cesarian like with my twins can be good, but emergency ones are traumatic, especially after a 'failed' labor. This double whammy is very, very physically draining. It took me months to be able to sit up and years to regain full use of my abs (which you use for everything). Then add on the emotional regret and shame of not being able to go 'natural like women are built to do'. And shame from the attending pediatrician for pushing too long. Like I had a choice.

Yeah no obstructed labor followed by emergency C-section is worse (ETA: in my experience) than my kidney stones, worse than broken major bones IMHO.

"Iamb" is the stress pattern. It sound like a-DUM. Or kind of like"i-AM".

"Penta" is five.

"Meter" means we're talking about poetry or song.

So you have five sets of a-DUM stress in each line of poetry.

a-DUM a-DUM a-DUM a-DUM a-DUM
