Starting over fresh with no contacts is tough in NH, especially as an introvert. There used to be more meetups and interesting events before COVID, but venues vanished and events are only slowly coming back.

To get a better idea of events around town, grab a copy of The Hippo (free weekly) when you visit NH, or you can buy access to the digital edition.

About once a year we get somebody trying to join our Makerspace who was obviously looking for "Hackspace Manchester" in the UK.

Meetups and public classes (like our October mead-making series) are published to Facebook and Eventbrite . We also run many members-only training events, these are listed on our calendar.

I'm downtown every Monday evening (running the Manchester Makerspace open house). We see a fair amount of foot traffic next door at The Goat -- tonight their patio heaters will be running and and they have live music scheduled.

Thirsty Moose (Merrimack location) has Monday night trivia.

The Goat has a costume contest on the 29th.

We usually do our own welding at the Makerspace, however if you're not up to DIY, Eastern Auto Body is at the north end of Willow, does great work.

Surefire Automotive is "two towns over", more affordable than Eastern.
