Starting over fresh with no contacts is tough in NH, especially as an introvert. There used to be more meetups and interesting events before COVID, but venues vanished and events are only slowly coming back.

To get a better idea of events around town, grab a copy of The Hippo (free weekly) when you visit NH, or you can buy access to the digital edition.

About once a year we get somebody trying to join our Makerspace who was obviously looking for "Hackspace Manchester" in the UK.

>Are people in Manchester generally aware of the UK Manchester or is it pretty unknown.

Aware mostly because of "Manchester United F,C," marketing and outerwear.

I'd absolutely get outdoors before sunset, enjoy the warm weather while it lasts!

I'm downtown every Monday evening (running the Manchester Makerspace open house). We see a fair amount of foot traffic next door at The Goat -- tonight their patio heaters will be running and and they have live music scheduled.

Thirsty Moose (Merrimack location) has Monday night trivia.
