It sounds like a trap. You cite ChatGPT as a source and then your teacher fails you and gives you a lecture on quality of sources.

Reply to comment by Nerditter in TIL that the phrase "It was a dark and stormy night" was the opening line to an actual novel published in 1830, but runs on for another 51 words: "It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents — except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which..." by dylancatlow
It absolutely is.

Yeah, it’s weird to Kojima gets held up by his fans as this brilliant auteur. His writing (especially his character writing and attempts at political commentary) isn’t really that good. Though I wouldn’t say gaming is completely bereft of actual good writing. It’s there if you go looking for it. Various BioWare / Obsidian RPGs have pretty excellent writing at times. Not all the time to be sure, but any game with dozens of hours of dialogue is bound to have its ups and down.

Reply to comment by mamoulian907 in why are modern fantasy series so bad? by Hafeesco
Yeah, there’s a lot of genre blending around fantasy. Like Star Wars is a mix of sci-fi and fantasy. As is a lot of superhero stuff, where you have science heroes existing right alongside actual gods.
I think what OP is talking about his Tolkien-style medieval fantasy, which is very hard to do well because it costs so much. Also if you’re adapting a book, there’s always a section of die-hard fans out there who will absolutely crucify you if you get things wrong. Presumably that makes studios nervous.

A good question. Honestly I don't know. Possibly none. It might be that we've moved away from the "Trilogy" as the ideal structure for franchises like Star Wars. There's a lot of baggage that you get from affixing Episode: XX to your movie that you don't have if its just "A Star Wars Story." (There's also the question of whether movie theaters are going to still be relevant decades from now).

Lol. Wtf.
Like a week ago there were a bunch of posts about how Andor is maybe the best piece of Star Wars media ever. Now we're on, "Guys, is Star Wars dead?"
Are you insane?
Like, its fucking Star Wars. Its survived worse. It will outlive all of us.
Edit: Look at this list of upcoming projects. There's at least 5 SW properties releasing new content next year. That's not including games, books, comics, and other kinds of media. Yeah, some of the things on that list will be delayed, or be canceled, or come out and be bad. But that is not the development schedule of a franchise that is "dead," or even one that is in trouble.

Regardless of what he owes or not it’s kinda monotonous wading through endless “finish the books George” comments. Like nobody has anything new or interesting to say, it’s just repetitive.

The corresponding carnage - fought over the issue of religious freedom following the Protestant Reformation - left millions dead. by Royal_Bumblebee_
I thought the dungheap was the counter-explanation for why they survived being tossed out the window. One side basically said “wow, these people were tossed out the window and didn’t die, God must have protected them.” Then the other side was like “wasn’t God, they landed in poop.”

The lowest is “Shades of Grey” the clip show that ends season 2. Which is kinda fair, but also kinda feels like cheating. Obviously it’s a bad and lazy episode, but it’s not aggressively offensive in the way Code of Honor is.
