I love both places. They are definitely different and for me in one important way. In Washington there is more wilderness and craggy mountains. The only place I haven’t felt this way in the NE was in New Hampshire. But that’s just my opinion.

Growing up our living room window had a view of Mount Baker. It wasn’t long after the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. I remember monitoring it every day. If my seven-year-old memories hold true, sometimes you could see what looked like steam coming off the peak.

This is so pretty! But I’m going to chime in and say Ilswoot is the most gorgeous!
