The joke there is that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, but facts can't be.

It's an actual fact that email was invented in 1971 (he was only 8) and Shiva claims to have invented it in 1979. Even if there was one result saying Shiva invented email there would be thousands saying Ray Tomlinson did. Kinda hard to miss that, unless intentionally.

Wikipedia has always been a good resource....if you follow up on their sources of information. It isn't a source, but it is a very solid starting point.

>No, being present at the Capitol is not enough.,

Yes, it was given the context. She was there unlawfully, everyone there was told it was unlawful, everyone was told to leave and didn't. Stop downplaying and defending domestic terrorists.

Done responding to you, you're obviously commenting in bad faith.

There's literally zero reason to reserve judgment in this case. Read my reply to another person on this thread, she is a textbook domestic terrorist (along with everyone else present at the Capitol at that time).

People like you need to stop downplaying the severity of what happened and what it means for our democracy.

When there’s video evidence, along with other evidence?

No, you’re just a domestic terrorist sympathizer.

Not even remotely huge, some people in this country are just too obsessed with optics & civility. From the FBI:

>Domestic terrorism: Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature.

There's no way you can look at January 6th and say, with a straight face, that it doesn't fit the bill. It was literally an attempted coup to overthrow the government because Lil' Donny was mad he still didn't win an election he tried so desperately to stack in his favor.

And before you start with the whataboutisms, because your comments scream that you would: BLM was not part of the riots and actively condemned them. Anyone with a brain knows they were thugs disconnected from the movement, using it as a cover and/or trying to paint them in a negative light...partially because it's been proven time and time again. Huge difference between them and these people who were actively plotting this, followed through, were proud of it, & bragged they were there.

These were all domestic terrorists. Stop being a domestic terrorist sympathizer.

The context is in the pictures: this domestic terrorists was part of an attempted coup, and broke several laws by even being present.

Isn't that literally almost everyone in this state? They want to help those struggling while in the same breath condemning them and wanting them 5 states away. Some of the same people here that are saying they love this and can't understand why anyone would be against will be those same people within a year or so. The problem is getting worse because nobody is willing to do what needs to be done to move things along.

There's little downsides to these sort of things, the research says it works. People need to stop clutching those pearls.

Did you try talking to any of the 10 people? I've never had a problem talking with them about what to get, and seen others do the same. The only time they point at the screen was to have me take a look at something, because they're basically the menu. Whenever I talk they're always happy to help & knowledgeable, usually get better stuff that way too. This has been at several dispensaries too, not a one-off.

Don’t want to compete with football, but want to compete with workplaces and bosses that will make it hell to vote? That makes zero sense, commissioner.

Edit: the downvotes are perplexing, honestly. I never said anything about early voting, which is great. I’m clearly commenting on ACTUAL Election Day, or at least I thought that was clear. His point against moving it just doesn’t make sense.

No matter what is done it will cause temporary discomfort and annoyance to somebody, no way around that. If traffic is the biggest issue you foresee then it is a fairly weak one, traffic will always exist and this would actually spread it out more.

The only valid point of your argument is that out west there aren't as many jobs that pay well...but there are some & overall that's a self-fulfilling prophecy because nobody wants to move out there and force that to start happening. There are still jobs though, and remote work is becoming more and more prevalent. All the issues people have with the western half of the state would start to disappear or get significantly better if it had more people moving out there.

There's no easy solution for all the issues the Eastern half of the state has, but people ignore one of them simply because of some crappy mindset. If people refuse to do things that would actually help the situation or offer solutions that make sense then wtf are you doing?

So tell me, what is the solution?

PS: Way to put words in my mouth.

None of what you have said has made a good argument against my initial point that to solve the housing/rent problem you need to expand west & not always build up. It would also solve or help alleviate many other issues. All of your points hinder on personal opinions and the company (and everything is on a company by company basis).

That is not at all what I'm saying, but if that's what you want to believe then go ahead. I feel like not enough people are considering the problems with having so many people in a small area, when there is PLENTY of land to the west not being developed or lived in.

The Eastern part of the state is absolutely saturated with people, the west not so much. We need to start spreading out more, and it's embarrassing a state as smart as this can't see that.
