I have an iPhone because I rely on iMessage. But I prefer Android. If it wasn’t for iMessage I’d switch back to Android in a heartbeat. I’ve tried Airmessage/Bluebubbles and I can’t get it to work reliably enough for my use case. So here I am.

So just keep letting them? That seems like a bad idea. Yes, those other platforms mine your data too. But TT is directly linked to China, and you'd be amazed what they can learn from you. Plus, they serve the worst most mind-numbing content to America -- they would never let their own citizens see that dreck.

I repeat: delete your account then the app.

If you are not interested in using the Apple ecosystem (i.e. having an iWatch, iPad, etc) then I'd stick with Samsung. iPhones are great phones but they really shine when used with other Apple products. Personally I like the way Android does notifications better, you have more flexibility and you don't need iTunes to move media to your phone from your PC.

Mini has Face ID and screen code to unlock phone, larger screen. sE has fingerprint sensor/code unlock and a smaller screen.

13 Mini and SE 2022 both have good battery life for the average user. If you are on social media all day, streaming video and playing games, I’ve yet to find a phone that doesn’t have a “shit battery”.
