We had a company come out once for this. After reading the review carefully, i just stayed with the guy the whole time. I ensured that he run his equipment through the whole distance of the vent and not just a part of it.

He did seem a little shady. But not overly so.

When he was done doing the vents we requested, he offered to do a few other vents for 50% if i gave him cash.

YMMV.

Agreed. Didn't want to inquire on your financial situation, if you were in dire straits - not going and taking a job now may have been a good option. Doesn't sound like the case here.

Could you go anywhere on the GI Bill or are you set on Cambridge College? I ask because Western Governors is supposed to have a pretty good online program and they have ties to incubator programs at various fortune 500 companies.

Well as you are probably already aware there are hundreds of resources for veterans to get into cyber security, like cisa: https://niccs.cisa.gov/education-training/cybersecurity-veterans

But on a local level, I can't talk to Cambridge College, but I'll offer a small bit of work advice (for when the time comes). Look at Raytheon. They are oftentimes taking cyber interns of all levels and the veteran status helps at a company like that.

Thank you for your answer.

I don't know who downvote me, but I noticed any time you mention ADHD and medicine in the same sentence here, it's a hot-button topic that'll likely get you downvoted...

Anyhow, I appreciate your response. The decision to medicate weighs heavily on a parent and I appreciate you speaking about it (even in the form of a question) publicly.

Sorry, I have nothing to add to your search.

But I just wanted to ask (if you don't mind) do you feel your parents made the right decision? I ask because we were recently faced with a similar decision for our kids, and it's gut-wrenching. I know all ADHD isnt the same, but was yours pretty mild?

Just curious, feel free to PM me if you don't wish to reply here.
