Reply to comment by magnoliabluebonnet in Southwest cancellations: Passengers may be waiting for days to get on a flight by crabcakes110
By some miracle I was able to get out of BWI yesterday… having begun the day without a ticket (had to ticket to NY, had to get back to Dallas)…
I kept refreshing at 5:30am and got lucky with an 8:00 flight out. Went to airport early and got on standby to see if I could fly out earlier … not long after that flight gets cancelled but fortunately I was the first on standby (got on early as as a list I guess I bypass those who weren’t, huge benefit of flying a lot I guess).
Ended up on the 1:50 out and got home at a decent hour. Had that not come through I’d likely be in Baltimore through tomorrow or later.

It’s really a lotta Philly but the size of Boston.
Blue collar. Great older housing stock. Tremendous histories. Both waterfront but not seaside

Oh man, I miss Golden Star (can’t imagine it’s still there and I wish I had more detail - went as a kid so we are taking 1980-1995 when I’d be there.

Is Tio Pepe’s still around (and still good?)
My dad used to take us on special occasions (he was in DFW symphony for decades so knew the area pretty damn well 😆)

Reply to Bojangles is coming to Baltimore by Somali_Pir8
I was SOOOO bummed when the Union Station DC spot closed. As a kid who went to NC summers in the early and mid 80s, I fell in love with Bojangles…
They are coming to where I live now (Dallas area) and I can not wait.
I love my Popeyes, but Bo is another level. And those breakfast biscuits and potato rounds????
Yoooo
