Hate to say it but if you really like good, fresh BBQ, the best way is to make it yourself. It's a great hobby and there are some cost effective smokers that make better BBQ than what you'll buy around here.

For example, I pay $30 for a 9lb pork butt and about $10 in materials (wood, charcoal). Out of that, I can get 35+ sandwiches if I'm having people over or vacuum seal and freeze portions for pizza, tacos, etc.

I have a hard time paying ehat BBQ costs when I can do it myself for much less and get better results.

Yes!! We did this about 5 years ago now.

Our heating and electric bills are WAY better now. Electric is almost half of what we used to pay.

They put insulation in our attic and basement, replaced every single bulb with LED bulbs, and put in proper bathroom vents and a few other things I'm forgetting. I think we paid $300-400.

Was worth every penny, highly recommend it.
