Let me get this straight: NYS spends $200 Billion a year and NYC spends $100 billion a year and they can’t fix anything in the city? No hope for this place.

Public unions are a threat to the public it seems then. Also I want to add that voter turnout is depressingly low in local mayoral elections, I believe if more people vote in the election and for the right person then we can solve our problems.

New Yorkers pay the highest tax in the country for mediocre service and the people who just came here gets 5 star hotel in Manhattan, we voted for it and we deserve it. We lived on $35,000 as a family of 4 for couple years, tough but doable. It’s annoying to hear people making 6 figures complaining how they’re living paycheck to paycheck, as if it isn’t something totally subjective.

Excuse my comment. The article says to power the bus, though the article itself is very vague on where exactly it costs more, but it sounds like it costs 3 times more to charge the vehicle than to fill it up with diesel. Don’t think it will make much of a difference in operating cost
