My toddler’s favorite restaurant is buddy’s burgers and fries in Montpelier. Definitely a classic burger joint, so grease is included, but very toddler friendly (and the milkshakes are sooo good)

I am from MA and my husband is a Vermonter (we are now living in VT) and I get annoyed with him for this all the time. There is a point where you are being too nice and it causes confusion. The worst is being in a line of a cars sitting through a green light because the first car isn’t paying attention and everyone is “too nice” to honk. 🤯

If the wait at the VA is long they might be able to recommend a “community care” therapist/doctor. They are people outside the VA who are also well versed in helping Veterans (someone close to me does this, but not in NH).

I know there is a baby circle at good beginnings in Montpelier. I used to go when it was virtual for covid and there were usually 7-8 other moms/babies there. I think they are in person now! There's also story times at the library in Montpelier, although I can't remember the day/time.
