PTSD person here. If you don't already have "tools" you can use to help feel in control, "the 5-4-3-2-1 exercise" will calm you down quickly. You can also go for a walk for around 10 minutes in the sun within a couple of hours first thing in the morning -- in addition to telling your melatonin clock exactly when to start its countdown, it proves to your limbic system that you are completely safe as there is no perceivable danger impeding you from an outdoor stroll.

I myself was once a person who did not understand this. It did take hearing the explanations and linking those to my own experiences to get it. Growing up with narcissistic parents teaches you narcissistic behavior and maladaptive core beliefs, and so believe it or not, being a narcissistic 20something is traveling a difficult road -- it takes many villagers and bumpy lessons to navigate to better lands.

It's so common you should be fine. My favorite spot is the first entrance after turning right onto Crystal Dr from 15th Street. When you get to the bottom of the garage there is sort of a separate area to the right and rear (behind you). Even if you take a ticket because you pull in during the day the gates are up in the evenings. At least they used to be. If not there then on 23rd.

The Crystal City court but I don't know what day/time is regular anymore.

The Springfield Sportsplex is easy to get to from Arlington as a quick shot down the highway for organized men's and women's VB. You can call and your name will be given to all the captains to be able to text you when they need a sub to see if you can make it.
