Reply to Wood stairs in the winter by RoyalAntelope9948
Had the same problem with my camp steps. Metal roof would shed snow onto stairs. Took forever to clear them.
Finally got some metal grated stair treads. The snow falls right through. You can also get them in heavy duty polyethylene, which is cheaper. They have the added benefit of cleaning your shoes/boots off during warmer weather. The gravel and dirt falls right through too.

Definitely agree with other to turn off power, drain water lines, and add antifreeze to all PVC traps. The hot water tank should be turned off BEFORE draining water.
If the lines have already frozen and burst, you may have damaged the washer and dishwasher intake switches and drain pumps if you have these. They have standing water in them that can freeze and expand. I own a camp up in Maine and have dealt with every one of these issues. Good luck. Hope you get to it before any of this happens.

Reply to "Potato" chips vs Potato chips by Doctuh
Quotes or no quotes. Best chips hands down. We buy multiple bags of each flavor on our way to camp. They last about two days. New flavor? No need.
