I live in the area you are describing. Been here 3-4 years. Love it. The trails are great. No more riff/raff than other places. Great location in Columbia. Close to 29 and Merriweather and Lake Kit. LA Mart is a good option for cheap food and Latin/Asian ingredients. I will say the village center is kind of crap though. Doesn’t have the investment in it it needs. There is a fine liquor store. But, most of the shops there are not the best In their class. That being said, best In Class options (pizza, bagels, grocery, food trucks,Chinese carryout) are easily reachable with a short drive. Overall love the area and highly recommend it.

Genuinely unsure what foxtrot is. If it is some flight/helicopter related police force cool. Too close to a Reichsadler for me. But. I’m not here to say wings shouldn’t be added to things. Typically, the more wings the better imo

Zoom should have background noise cancellation. So. Shouldn’t be an issue for those that are listening to you. Gas blowers are annoying and polluting so I agree with you there. I do use one though so I’m part of the problem. We also live in a heavily wooded area so if you dont do them regularly (a couple times a week) it becomes a whole day affair or an unmanageable task to clear them. It’s also expensive to have people take care of them for you. It’s also more difficult when you have neighbors who dont take care of their leaves and let them blow onto your property then forcing you to continue to solve the problem of clearing all the neighbors leaves. Not saying that’s the case as I have no idea if you have trees, or are in an apartment etc) You are not the problem here. This is a temporary problem thankfully. And isn’t an un-winnable war. You could always cut down all the trees…shrugs…Winter is coming friend. I guess welcome to the suburbs.

I’m not -an- anarchist but I would certainly consider myself anti-fascism.If anti-fascism isn’t what you are referring to then I may need you to define the specter that you are referring to. I have very little interest in a meta ethics discussion with you though on how authority is exerted illegitimately for political purposes or to end up discussing how soldiers are not required to follow unjust orders during war. (Clearly this is not a war, this is legitimate immigration characterized as an attack to reduce the individuals to “less than” status so my jus in bello push is illegitimate imo. There are probably a few sides to the argument but I doubt there is any flexibility in your stance. For me personally…give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free functions as it was written. I have no need to exclude individuals who may become the public charge.
