Apple may replace the apple watch for free, but it depends on how you tell them about the damage. Only reason they would end up replacing it for free is if it is in warranty, and you just tell them you don't know why the microphone died lol

65w charging over lightning, probably not tbh... may need a cable revision for that one

latest iphones actually do 30w too (13 pro max and 14 pro max)
No, the charging circuitry for USB-C isn't designed specifically for higher capacity batteries, that doesn't make any sense. My android phone can charge with usb-c at 65w, more than any iPad. Battery management is typically done with a battery bms attached to your iPhone's battery cell(s). There is no excuse.

To use usb-c like the ipads, they would need to use the same chips, which can handle more than 20w, no? They're just going to create a new, worse one for more money?

So, if they design it with USB-C instead...

Tell me, why can the iPhone's charging circuitry (the proprietary lightning tristar) unable to handle more than 20w?

If it was unlocked, the theif probably went through their saved passwords, although that also requires biometric/password to get in. Perhaps it's an older touchid model that doesn't ask for verification for autofill on every use, so the theif just went to appleid.apple.com and changed the info

iOS 15.1.1 iPhone 12 Pro Max physical dual sim, I can select my line right in the dialer.
I switch between android and iPhone often, multiple times in a year. I'll look through the rest of your post, but also comment here with some of your biggest problems, and i'll try my best to help.

atleast due to it's age, there are public tools available that will let you install custom firmware and/or bypass activation lock

The Ultra's Sapphire glass should scratch less than your series 4 (unless you are using a n S4 with sapphire glass already)
But, it is more prone to shattering. The raised lip and flat glass helps with this, and the speakers are much bigger, too. Don't know if the Microphone would hold up though, I don't work where my watch is exposed to fine metal particles. Guess I should consider myself lucky lol
