Not at all worth the extra $150 a month after taxes.

I’ve worked at one of these schools it was for all intents a different job than the one I do now (same position at a much “easier” school). I actually preferred working with the type of students at the “hard” school, but I couldn’t justify all the extra that took so much energy my family suffered.

If that’s the case everyone should just be entitled to c number of paid holidays that they get to choose at the beginning of each year. There are so many religions that have holidays as important to them s Christmas that aren’t acknowledged by American society. Give everyone the option to take their own holidays, or their birthdays, or the anniversary of the opening of the Wawa at 288 and Broad, etc.

Covid

Managed to avoid it until now, but it’s proving as miserable as people said it would be.

Fever, sore throat, headache and short of breath. I’m also stuffed up and starting to cough. At least I have the ability to take a week off so I can be miserable without also trying to be a productive adult.

That’s not just walking around the city, that’s being a woman anywhere. I’ve been harassed in a suburban YMCA by a swim team dad, in a rural gas station by an old man, in a country restaurant by a couple of local trades workers, etc. being a woman makes you a target everywhere, all the time.
