Definitely our eyes perceive and process at a certain speed because the theoretical limit would be lower than the frames on a TV or monitor otherwise motion video wouldn't work.

Think about that plane going to Hawaii a week or so ago that hit turbulence. Even if AI could pilot it the ride would suck. AI can't really do anything about lack of maintenance or random break downs either so dead motors or electrical fires would be almost always fatal.

I have too many times where the doctors and I can't explain why something is happening and the doctors either used their best judgment or knew me long enough and well enough to trust what I was telling them. I can imagine AI just saying this shouldn't happen so leave when it is actually some fluke incident not even trained professionals can explain.

Now if we could do that why not put all those memories into a synthetic body and have a robot running around thinking it was us for the next 3 or 4 hundred years.

I get this. As kids we do some really stupid stuff to be different or get noticed. I guess about all you could do is say to your friends. I made this up and have been too embarrassed to come clean because it was such a ridiculous thing in the first place.

This is why I hate touch screens. We spent years slapping hands away from our screens just to have someone come alone and make it mandatory.
