Reply to CT Paid Paternal Family Leave by Sum_Mo
If you are birthing the child, disability is also a factor. Standard practice is 6 weeks for a vaginal delivery, 8 for a cesarean. That being paid or not is employer dependent, but it is considered medical leave, not family leave (similar to if you were in car accident and had to miss work).

Then I would definitely check out Milford. Lots of park space behind the library (which is downtown in the harbor) which also has scheduled programming.

With a budget slightly over 1M, around say 1.3M, you could have a larger house with water views and walkable to the downtown (including train station) and hospital in Milford. However, a car is still 100% needed for regular life (groceries, etc)

Definitely interested! I don't have enough property for livestock, but very into gardening and preserving!

Not that I'm aware of. Generally, we chop wood one year, store in a place to dry out, and the use that the following year. You can purchase small packs of seasoned wood as well.

You don't want to use fresh green wood (like recently chopped) it needs to be thoroughly dry throughout to ensure it will make a fire not smoke

If that is what you liked, I would definitely recommend one of the more walkable parts of Milford, like close to downtown/green, close to walnut beach, close to anchor beach (less happens there but it is pretty) or if you can afford it, similar vibes in parts of Westport, Darien, Greenwich (but double to triple the housing costs)
