Sort of like inward singing.

It's really not so bad. Consider some other ways things could have played out:

• The Universe starts out as an empty void and stays that way. No Big Bang happens, so no matter gets created and therefore nobody ever exists. Boring.
• The Universe exists and you pop into existence at some point, but you cannot die. Sounds fun at first but check back in a couple billion years and see if you still feel that way.

All things considered, there are much worse possible outcomes than this.
