Reply to How to dress for Taste Washington? by hotstickywaffle
casual dress will be just fine considering it'll probably be raining when you get here and the temperature will probably be in the mid to upper 40's F. You can't go wrong with khakis and a button down shirt although I suspect that quite a few folks will be rockin it in jeans and tee shirts! Come dressed for fun and prepare your palate for some delicious foods and even better wines! you're gonna have so much fun, you're not gonna wanna have to go back home!

Reply to Owners of large or dirty dogs: what hacks, products, or tips to you use to help keep your home clean? by sneakybee-
lol, I have two full size dogs 85 and 87 pounds respectively and I feel your pain in trying to keep the house clean considering those big dirty paws and the daily amount of hair they both seem to shed. To that end, I have two big floor mats at both the front and back door to first catch the muddy paws before entering the house.
Then I have 3 separate vacuums not including the shopvac. Two of them are uprights, with beater bars to best de-fluff the couple of rooms with area rugs and a canister vac for the hardwood floors. Then there's the roomba which I let loose after I vacuum otherwise it would choke to death on the daily amount of dog hair these two dirty dogs drop every day!
oh, yeah, then there's the swiffler and the mop...

you should probably consider "moving," because if you win in civil court,
you'll lose in family court... that he said - she said situation is gonna be a tough nut to crack

If you want some privacy I'd avoid going to Ocean Shores. If you travel north a ways just past Humptulips you can find some nice spots open to the public that are relatively unused at this time of year. Be sure to bring some kites along, nothing better than than flying a kite as you stroll along the beach.

Reply to To afraid to ask: would a $170k down payment be able to afford me a house in Western Washington? by PopNo5397
A lot of that is contingent on where you are buying ie. purchase price and the amount you're gonna finance. Credit scores and debt ratios are also factors that lenders will consider when evaluating your application.
You should look at getting prequalified, plenty of lending institutions will do that for free. You may wanna check with your bank or credit union.

ah the old orange peel trick! been doing it for years. I like to change up every once in a while and use grapefruit and lemon peels as well. adds a nice flavor back and makes for a smoother toke too!

Have you ever thought about staying at the lodge on Mt. Rainier?
Been a while since we were up there for a stay, but having the lodge to yourself in the evenings is definitely an experience. They had a small bar there which made some great cocktails as I recall. Then of course there's the mountain itself and all the recreational opportunities it offers. You might wanna check it out.
