If Market Basket opened in the Pioneer Valley (Hamp, Holyoke, Hadley) it would make a Gadzillion dollars. All we have is overpriced Big Y and totally inept Stop & Shop.

Meh, I was just curious about the town and trying to find any information beyond what I can find on Google Earth or Wiki. Had never heard of the Pine Tree Riot… they cut off the horse’s ears, mane and tail. Brutal. Cheers.

As a kid I met Bobby Kennedy once. A friend of mine’s dad was one of his personal attorneys and was beside him as he was gunned down at the Ambassador Hotel. He was never the same after that and started to drink heavily, all downhill from there.

I’ve lived in the same Easthampton 2BR for more than 22 years. I found it through a local real estate firm named Taylor. There’s a billion on-line sites of course but just asking around town is not unheard of; we’re a very friendly crowd around here…
