Are you welsh?

One of my students asked what the plural of compass was? I asked, "What do you think?". He responded, "cumpi?". Stumped! I suggested they look it up on the internet. The whole class within seconds had images on their screens I wasn't prepared for. Oops. Seems like education is for teachers too.
