And they’d do that for petty crimes like highway robbery. Read the Newgate Calender.

I think you got the political derangement. First step: Stop watching MSNBC. And where did that sympathy or affinity for helping England wage her wars come from? Seems like it was virtually nonexistent at the start of World War One.
