In defense of the car, they're more like five feet tall and quite comfortable inside! But your point stands. I'm tall but not unusually so and I can clean the entire roof of mine with just my arms. There is no defense for this driver.

I fully, openly and proudly embrace my penchant for judging double-parking, gas-hogging fevered-egos both online and in-person and have never claimed otherwise.

I agree that backing into a spot is generally the way to go when feasible, but I still think it is folly to assume the person behind you will intuit your intent.
