I agree. TVL is the peak. It went downhill from there.

True. The second and third book were acceptable, but nowhere near the caliber of Witching Hour.

You make some very valid points and I’m glad you shared them. The only thing I’ve used GR for is to look at a few reviews here and there. I read books as though I consume a meal. I enjoy it while it lasts, and then I move on.

I like this description - (the unknown feeling.) it’s fun when you find that one book that hits you like a hurricane. We’ve all experienced it, and we’re constantly seeking that same high from an insanely great story.
