I use this model I found at Menards.

Working great for years. Replacable wicking filters available. Don't forget to use the water additive (or vinegar).

You want a 5+ gallon unit... small ones won't cut it, have to refill too often.

Reply to Ebay Find, USA made can opener for under the counter by PutridFlatulence
Backstory: I was getting tired of these electric can openers that keep breaking after a year and taking up counter space and wanted to find the can openers my parents have used for 25 years, the ones that mount under the counter. Black and Decker Spacemakers. This lead me to stumble upon the fact that GE sold their small appliances division to Black and Decker in the early 1980's and before that they made this can opener with a similar model number in the USA, and found one on ebay for far less money than these typically go for in basically new condition. I didn't buy this to admire it, I bought it to use it, and will be installing it this weekend. It cost me far less than it should have for what I got, in my opinion.

The model number is EC60, just like the Black and Deckers that replaced them later in the 80's and into the 90's.
