Tucker Pavillon is a good resource even if you don’t end up going with them…good things and bad things about any treatment place but I’ve dealt with them personally and am better off for it. It certainly beats other potential outcomes.

Had an early 00’s Focus that would do it at highway speeds on occasion. It ended up being a known issue with the fuel pump and compression if I’m remembering correctly. Scared the hell out of me the first time because I lost power steering but thankfully it would start back up immediately.

From what I’ve heard from family that are plumbers, they are very happy to sell you a garbage disposal…and the almost guaranteed large bill for fixing everything thereafter. There were some good threads on Reddit in the past about the situation on why to not get one.

Yup, was man vs food. Also, as of about a year or so ago they had stopped offering them because it typically makes people snot/other fluids which was obviously less than ideal during a pandemic. Might be worth making a quick call before heading there.

I don’t have any experience with it directly but consider calling VA crisis line -988 or local ER. Might not be immediately, but things can and do get better my friend.
