I'm not a U.S. citizen. Before I do the six courses they require, do you know if I'm eligible? I see no indication that I am not eligible on the IRS website, but that doesn't really mean much.

I’m looking for a good reason to get out of the apartment that provides some sense purpose outside of the work environment and allows me feel part of the community I live in. I haven’t volunteered a ton in my life so I don’t know what would foot the bill. I suppose working at a food bank would cut it, or mentoring people about my field, or helping out in a retirement home. No idea. I really thought it’d be easier to find something. I guess you have to know people.
