Not all paved surfaces are considered roads. Many are streets.

But the Schwinn Stingrays were the best; those Huffys (and especially Sears Free Spirit) were for losers.

The latest heat pumps are rated down to -13F; they'll put out some heat but as you say they're not very efficient at that temperature. They're extracting heat from the air, and at colder temperatures there's less heat to extract.

It was 13 degrees when I woke a couple mornings ago. Heat pumps were still blowing warm air. (Efficiency probably goes down a bit, which is why I still have the oil boiler ready to go.)

C'mon out. I grew up in Utah and never liked the browns and greys of the desert. Much prefer the green and blue of the Maine forests and water. And it's also not a theocracy.

Just finished reading this. Author gives a lot of background of what that part of the world looked before "it" happened, and what it looked like after, but still not much definitive about what "it" was that happened.

Ordered mine late July; installation after Christmas. Heating oil until then.
