Wow...i went to high-school with Brandon. We were never close but i remember sharing the odd laugh or two with him
I hope he ends up home safe
Edit: his presence on social media seems to indicate past struggles with mental health :(

Except the fact that the incident occured directly up the hill from the school. I don't think the headline was inflamatory or too misleading. School was in session and they justifiably went into lockdown. Who knows what direction the commotion or bullets would start coming from

Loch Mon Tavern near Clairton. A restaurant/bar that occupies an old church. It's beautiful and clean inside with great food. Bonnie the bartender rocks!

I really like Mr. Small's in Millvale, it's a cozy joint that you get intimate shows at. I'm always going to other random venues seeing smaller bands and tribute bands

I agree. This may or may not be heresy considering theyre an Italian joint, but Ive had some of the best steak of my life there! I agree with everything you said :)
Tillie's is also a good bet

Reply to LPT: Homeowners, get a box of pool noodles, I have found so many uses for mine that I have been glad to have them (I don't have a pool). by moviesetmonkey
I set up tents and bouncehouses for parties. They need to be staked into the earth, but the stakes need to remain partially uncovered for ease of removal
My go-to suggestion for the homeowners that desire to cover them completely (usually for safety) are the good ol- pool noodles!
These things can be used to cover sharp objects or otherwise serve as an impact bracer. Next time i go into a big city im putting rubber chickens and pool noodles around my car - no nicks or dents from careless drivers lol

I forget their burger special, but i love going there for Wednesday Wings baby! It gets PACKED. I love the Carriage's Spicy Bison Burger. It's about the only restaurant in Elizabeth though, nothing else seems to last or be too good
I'll occasionally go to the Rose or Droopy's but the Carriage is def Elizabeth's safest, best bet

51 sucks soooooooo bad. It is an amazingly decrepit, narrow, hazardous road. After you cross the Elizabeth bridge the tragedy slowly takes form. By the time you get near Whitehall, you'll be begging for mercy. The Maytide intersection around Saw Mill Run Blvd contains the imagery the word "hellscape" conjures in my mind
It's always something with this road. Just a week or two ago i got stranded just shy of Duffy's beer because someone crossed over the median and wiped out
Sigh

EDIT: No, it turns out I was actually mistaken. I went to Elizabeth Forward High School
A fellow classmate informed me I was wrong. But at EFHS there was a Brandon Davis in our graduating class
I genuinely thought this fellow was him. I guess there is a doppelganger afoot. I mean to my eyes they could be brothers!
I still hope this Brandon turns out okay
