For my GOTY award, I will only be considering games I have personally played this year, and basing that decision on my own subjective opinion. As such, I would like to announce this year's winner of the RBJ Game of the Year: Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord! Best narrative award goes to Horizon: Zero Dawn, Unexpected Rockstar award goes to Vampire Survivors, and my special "Still together after all these years" award goes to 7 Days to Die. Notable omissions/better luck next year pending price drops: Elden Ring (haven't played, probably won't,) God of War: whatever subtitle this time (Never been interested in the series, probably won't,) Stray (I mean, the videos are cute, but is there an actual fun game in there?
