I work in ag and we're following this closely as the biggest issue is they want to regulate PFAS under CERCLA aka Superfund. The reason PFAS is in your food is because ag was licensed to spread fertilizer made from waste water treatment plants on their fields before anyone thought PFAS was an issue. Unless you scrape all of the top soil off all of your local farms it will continue to leech into the local water regardless of eliminating any local chemical manufacturing run off.

It's a great way to have an afternoon/evening workout. I also think it's a shame that people get so focused on needing to go to a ski mountain 2 hours away and force themselves to spend 8 hours on the slopes. Going to the small local places is great way to work on your turns and get some exercise and outside time because you never feel obligated to spend more than 90 minutes if you're not having a good time.

NH farm Facebook groups, craigslist, and livestock auctions. It's the wrong time of year right now but in the spring you'll see a bunch of listings in those places.

Also I don't know how you're planning on processing but if you're not doing it yourself you'll want to start making appointments for fall 2023 processing now.

I don't know what your budget is, but for snowboarding, skiiing, xc skiing etc, a lot of shops do seasonal leases for under $200 for the winter. http://www.swsports.net/boot-club

If you're a college student you can get a winter college ski pass that's multi mountain for about $400 right now, if you're not a college student you can usually find a midweek season pass for <$500 to many mounts, or you can get an xc ski pass to Gunstock for $200 for the season.

Snowshoes are relatively cheap, and you can get them on FB marketplace or craigslist used for under $100.
