They do, and humans died since ever until we started using them, then from a few millions to 8 billion of us

Some governments are now limiting the effective fertilizers all together, it will help the planet, by maybe eliminating another billion of us?

This is the pessimistic view, there is tons of optimism, but one pessimistic prediction will not hurt.

- There is covid, it ages the population faster (internal damages similar to aging) we don't know by how much yet, regardless of now, it will mutate until it perfects it, so lifespan will go down to 50? 60? in the next 20 years or so.
- People want the CO2 issue fixed, so we will have less from everything, cars, energy, homes, food, clothing, etc.
- Viruses and Bacteria got suppressed by a 100 years, there are so much chemicals we can mix until they evolve to go around them, so sickness will be more common.
- On the good side will perfect automation of making every day products.

One day you will work with AI, compare the brain neurons multi threading and the digital processor clock, and you will get the idea.
Anyway, there are currently billions of dollars invested in analog AI.

AI requires analog hardware, the digital hardware reached its limits, this is why self driving cars are still not able to self drive, it needs a massive processing power that digital hardware can never provide.
The only analog processor in existence is brain neurons so far.
Currently, beside some carefully crafted chat and carefully crafter image generation, AI is stuck, it is stuck for the last 5 to 10 years.

Not interested, prefer reality. reality is simple, if a farmer can grow tons of food using a normal fertilizers, they would have done it many times over.
