It’s a really exciting place to work. They have pony rides in the courtyard once a month and a secret frozen yogurt machine (the tart kind!) that you’re able to use after some mild hazing.
It’s also known for a blow out costume party on Flag Day (DOJ has Halloween), and every four years for inauguration, you get to have your photo taken in a hilarious Oregon Trail/Pioneer Photo Booth with the head of OMB.
Best part is the on-site coven prayer service every Monday. Turns out witches love Mondays. Who knew?
Tell your friend to accept and, most importantly, to stop cutting his hair and fingernails. That will be explained during orientation.

I find Baltimore a bit easier to live in...more affordable, less traffic, less I AM THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD vibe.
It has fewer funky neighborhoods and shops, but other than that, it's not terribly different. I moved from SF and found DC very livable, although that was when things were a lot cheaper in terms of housing.

What’s more likely: that a BIPOC recognized profiling they’ve lived with their whole life, or that your “helpful” staffer who wouldn’t make eye contact was misunderstood?

It serves teen girls in underserved areas and is knocking it out if the park: 100% of their girls graduate HS; 82% go to college or job training programs. 0% pregnancies, although they have a program for pregnant and parenting teens.

Fun story: When I was 27 and living and working in San Francisco, I took a cab somewhere and heard a trumpet player busking on a corner as we drive by. I look up and recognize a member of my HS band in North Carolina! Red headed, pot-marked guy....pretty distinctive. This was before social media and I never was able to confirm it was him or to say hello.

I switched to Ritalin when I couldn't find Adderal. I sleep better with it than I do Adderal.
