Reply to comment by TK-461 in EA is shutting down Apex Legends Mobile and not giving refunds. by SUPRVLLAN
I could be mistaken here but I think the problem might be this:
>In EA’s earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson said that EA and the development partner chose to sunset this “version” of the game and that the company has “plans to reimagine a connected Apex mobile experience in the future.”
Basically "this version isn't working out so we're starting over and if you supported us up until this point tough luck".
I also assume this different version doesn't transfer into the main game on any other platform.
I can understand people being a little annoyed by this.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider definitely got a bit boring but I feel like that was more because of how little combat their was and completely ruining the more open stealth areas for just linear shooting sections. The world size felt fine.

"It encourages variety" - everyone on Reddit with an inventory of 30 lynel crushers/ bows/ shields.

As much as I loved BotW I definitely think it was too much. Not a lot to do besides the 900 korok seeds and 120 shrines which are both just way too much.

Quality > quantity. I will spend $60 for a well crafted linear experience that's only 15-20 hours long before I pay $60 for some 100+ hour open world game I will get burnt out on and never finish.
I think semi open 40-60 hour games are the sweet spot though.
Games like Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, and Metro Exodus where you have multiple smaller maps with only a handful of collectibles and side missions padding the run time.

Controller, exclusively, and I don't really play online games so I'm not too concerned about the disadvantage. Only thing I really got into for a bit was Halo where a controller actually has the edge.

Not a very interesting question but is it compatible with other aspect ratios like 21:9? Is it steam deck compatible?

I have a pretty solid one I just got from walmart that's been good so far, goodcook, feels pretty heavy. Think we've had it about a year without it rusting or getting wobbly like a lot of the other ones we've had.

I actually really like the Series X. I know it's just a boring box but I prefer more minimalistic designs. I really wanted to build my PC in the NZXT H1 until I learned they were catching on fire.

Only if you count from not being able to save on the N64 without a memory pak. I think the GameCube was my only console that required any other external storage, where it never left the console. Then it was the Wii, internal, 360 clipped to the top and never came off. Everything from Xbox One/PS4 on is all cloud based.
