Drove there once with my partner in the winter. We named the trip Torturonto due to the arctic reckoning we endured for four days. Great time though. Not a bad drive & would definitely recommend going up there at least once - though maybe during a more thawed period of the year.

I gotta say, compared to the old bridge, I prefer this bridge’s look. Neither are anything spectacular, but to me this one blends more into the scenery. I would welcome a little green paint on the top concrete beams though.

If you’re in Shadyside, I’d try for Ritter’s, but I’m not sure about their hours since covid. They used to be open 24 hours, or at least on the weekends. They have a great avgolemono soup.
