It’s been a long time since I was there, the last time they had a bunch of those bushes that were cut up to look like dragons and animals and other stuff. I thought that was pretty cool . I’m probably not going to be buying anything , maybe a house plant or something if I found ow that was cheap and looked cool.

Okay at least it’s flower related, I’m not sure what I was thinking , I was thinking like Knick Knacks and stuff.

Are a few breakfast sandwiches Grubhubbed to your house worth 50 bucks, probably not but people are gonna do it anyway.

My experience with the lower NE is it’s more quiet than it’s ever been . I can sit out all night and not hear a pin drop or walk my dog and the neighbors all wave and say hi but I come on here and find out I’m living in a hellhole .

There’s one on Cottman Ave too my kid loves that thing .

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t eat a pizza or a bucket of chicken that I’ve found on the street at least once in my life.

No we were turned away and had to go home, but that was in the spring the weather was nice and there was a big line. We went back again last month and pre purchased tickets for like 5 bucks and had no issues .

With the art museum you still need to buy tickets in advance even if you just buy them for a buck. I made the mistake of just showing up one time thinking I could just walk right in but they were booked up and we were sent away.

And it’s funny because the block has been much much more quiet with the Chinese people moving in and the rowdy Irish people moving out. I got along with them but they had a habit of drinking through the night and playing music until the morning.

What do you mean by the decline of the NE. I know if a house goes for sale on my block it sells in less than a week. New restaurants and schools are popping up all over the place. Where are you seeing decline?

Uh no I was at Renfaire for the wine, food and to smoke cigarettes while riding on an elephant. Ear was a little clogged and I saw the candle thing thought the candling tent there so I gave it a shot . Made it way worse though would not recommend.

I had an ear clog when I was in my early 20s and saw ear candeling at the PA Renfaire and after they were done I couldn’t hear anything at all for two weeks.

It happened again and I went to the Rite Aid minute clinic and they flushed it out and gave me some drops and I could hear better than I ever had in my life.

Oh wow it’s even the same price too 13 bucks with a 20 dollar casino voucher . I just got back from AC and spent 40 bucks just in gas and was dragging from not getting much sleep.I would have took it if I’d known.

I remember when you could take a bus round trip to Atlantic.City for 12 bucks and they gave you a 20 dollar roll of quarters.

Then you could take those quarters to the bar and drink top shelf scotch for free as long you occasionally put a quarter into the video poker machine. Every once in a while you would get comped a buffet just for sitting there so long. Then. stumble back to the bus with a belly full of cheap food and expensive booze and sleep til you got back to Philly.

I had a neighbor that had his license suspended from DUIs. He hit someone walking down the street and got so scared he was going to go to jail he went home and hung himself . His wife had us help get his body down, meanwhile the dude he hit knew him from the neighborhood and came around looking to fight him it, it was a crazy situation.
