I have an 8kw system with backup installed. ROI is around 6 years. I used SolPower out of Charlestown. My electric bill has been zero since September and I have enough credit built up that it should stay at zero until the nicer weather is back.
Make sure your roof is less than ~12 years old or have it reshingled.

I used SolPower for my system. Install took 6 months and was done in 2 days. On the bad side I've been waiting for a few weeks on them to schedule some additional work to be done.

Current incentives help to pay for batteries plus the battery allows you to use your panels during an outage.

It took them 6 months from down payment to system install. The inspections and connection was a week.

I had mine installed by SolPower. Took awhile to get on the calendar though.

I think it only took about a week or two between installation and activation. The inspection was a drive by and I never even talked to the inspector.

My system had only been in place for 4.5 months and I still have a $113 credit even with the horrible winter generation.

I used SolPower which is in Charlestown. They were good but aren't always the fastest at answering emails.

I've only had my panels since September and my January bill was still zero even though I had to use some of my credit
