Not at all true. The IRS may penalize your tax preparer (if they're a CPA). The taxes that are owed will be paid by you. You could go to tax court. The benefit is that you have someone that knows how to interpret and handle communication from the IRS.

Yeah, I had Starlink for the last couple of years. A simple search on r/starlink will get you every answer you want to know. Need northern line of sight, high latency (low for satellite), inconsistency, and decent speeds. I don't know what optimum is, but it's probably better than starlink.
