I hope they can reconfigure the seating bowl to make it more hockey friendly the dcu definitely isn’t the best building for hockey in New England. Since it was built to compete with the old garden for concerts in the 80s. The Springfield Indians only moved to Worcester 12 years into the building’s lifespan.

A extensive DCU Center overhaul to make it better for hockey and attract more events again. They should even look into overhauling management if that is the reason why the DCU Center is only getting Monster Jam, D-level concerts and wrestling every two years.

Supposedly the Providence Bruins prevented the Railers from switching their ECHL affiliation to Boston out of pettiness. Having the bruins brand attached to the railers whould have been a boon to the business of the dcu.

Leverage the potential success of Hogwarts legacy into a sale of their games division and lock that game company they no longer own into expensive licenses for their film ip’s.

Hopefully the large space that it occupies can be used for redevelopment and it won’t sit there closed for years.

I know it will probably never happen but Worcester AHL 3.0 wouldn’t be a terrible thing someday. If an AHL Club had the railers management team and got to keep the name but combined it with the vastly superior talent and style of play of the AHL It would probably be very sustainable even with a affiliation like the Islanders or one of the Florida teams. The P-Bruins also have continued to be petty towards Worcester to this day it wouldn’t be a terrible thing to restart the rivalry on the ice either.
