We were made to make ‘apple head dolls’ when I was in elementary school… we had to suspend peeled apples (on string) by their stems till they dried out- carving and pinching out facial features during the drying process- and finally making bodies for them and creating applehead dolls! Lol 🤷🏿♀️ Your dried up apple just triggered that memory loose. Lol

Consider Lititz- once named ‘The Coolest Small Town in America’- it’s in Lancaster County (Amish) and feels like something out of a Hallmark movie. Plenty to do in a day or two… cool restaurants, pubs, hotels, B&Bs, historical places, etc…
