Buy cotton percale. I like Redland Cotton. I hear LL Bean also makes a good one.

My issue with Stanley is the amount of plastic they use. Plastic is never BIFL. It will always get brittle and break. I prefer the Klean Kanteen thermoses.

Reply to Can anyone suggest a durable non stick cook set? Preferably one which doesn't break the bank by revnhoj
There's some hate for Hexclad around here for some reason, but we bought a pan and I love it so far. Only had it for a few months so I can't speak to whether it's actually durable, but it is nonstick, and I can see it lasting a lot longer than other nonstick pans because of the raised stainless steel. It also technically has a lifetime warranty.

It gave up the ghost. R.I.P.

Ecco's! I put 15k steps daily into my Ecco dress shoes and they've lasted years. I've only needed to polish them and change the laces. The soles are slip resistant and do not wear down at all.

Another vote for Redland Cotton percale sheets. They aren't are silky soft as a modern sheet set, but they'll last much longer and get softer the more you wash them. I rather like the crispier feel they have anyways.
