Imo it is the greatest open world game of all time but it is a close call. Linear ass GOW was overhyped then and is now.

Celeste wasn't that great of a game. RDR2 was definitely on the level of GOW, if not higher.

Elden Ring in my opinion. I don't think God Of War deserved GOTY in 2018 over RDR2 and I think Elden Ring is a better game than Ragnarok.
