First, condolences on your loss.

I’m not a financial advisor or estate planner, but if this is truly a life insurance payout, it does not affect the estate or the executor of the will. A life insurance policy will operate directly between the insurance company and named beneficiaries once the company is aware of the death.

Generally, life insurance proceeds you receive as a beneficiary due to the death of the insured person, aren't includable in gross income and you don't have to report them. However, any interest you receive is taxable and you should report it as interest received. See Topic 403 for more information about interest. - Source

Seriously. When you turn fitted sheets upside down, the elastic corners still form a loose, manageable corner, which means it is a rectangle like any other sheet. Use those as your folding corners and you are 95% of the way there. The other five percent is how much effort you want to put into folding them perfectly flat.

Thank for your help everyone! I just found seven containers of Turkey Hill egg nog ice cream at Stop & Shop in Fall River. I bought six containers. 😬

PSA for shrinkflation that these used to be true half gallons (64oz) and are now a paltry 48oz.

Thank you my fellow TH Connoisseur! I grew up in Pennsylvania, so having TH egg nog is always a great holiday memory. I found the egg nog (beverage) at Price Rite, which is Shop Rite starting around New Jersey. Stop & Shop is also called Giant, but they are way different in shopping experience.
