Happy Days is owned by x. They sell the rights to the show to smaller, local stations.

Local station in 1985 has 3 competitors. Local station pays too dollar to lease Happy Days because they want more viewers and can charge more to advertisers.

Advertisers are willing to pay more to be watched by more people. But especially people in the 16-35yo male demographic. And that’s who was watching Happy Days in 1985.

Plus it was better than what’s on the other 3 channels (which were probably Donahue, local news, and After School Specials).

Everyone wins.

It does still exist today. I challenge you to watch Extended Cable for 3 daylight hours and not see one episode of Big Bang Theory.

That was my first thought too. But one will have to buy new lids now and again.

OP I’ve had the glass Pyrex with snap lid set from Costco for about 7 years - still almost like new (one snap broke on 1 lid). I just bought a 2nd so that I don’t run out when I freeze soup. The set comes with maybe 7 total, 4 different sizes, ~$30.

Of course there is always washing out and re-using yogurt and cottage cheese containers….

About 10 years ago I went from George Castanza fat wallet to a slim wallet. 4 cards, 3 paper copies of insurance stuff, and cash (less cash these days). I will never go back to fat wallet, and I recommend Serman Brands. Or others like it. I bought for maybe $16, now it looks like it’s $25. It’s still like new, probably because it doesn’t get abused like fat wallets used to.

I had an RFID anti-reader safe one, but my key card didn’t work thru it lol so I ended up getting a non RFID safety model.

Less stuff is better :) cheers.
