Consider banning moose hunting? Scientists have been unable to find the cause of the dramatic moose population decline in regions of Canada and across the United States. They speculate the causes may be many- from global warming to parasites- in an attempt to explain why moose are dying at an unprecedented rate across North America.

The governor will veto this because he is a Republican. All Republican legislators are dinosaurs who believe one puff of weed will turn you into a heroin addict. The DEA still (incorrectly) classified MJ as Schedule I meaning it has a high potential for abuse and no currently accepted medical use.

Moose die from a variety of causes - tics, predation by bears and wolves, old age, standing in the middle of the road after dark. Just not clear to me why anyone would hunt a moose. It’s not as though there is a need to control their population. Moose hunting looks as challenging to me as shooting a dairy cow in a meadow. I agree with the person that wrote that global warming/cooling has probably been occurring long before smokestacks, auto exhaust, and farting cows, and it won’t be solved by all the green energy bullshit.
